Sam Lengyel, AIA, NCARB

I design homes with the belief that a dwelling should do more than shelter daily life—it should elevate it.

My work is centered on thoughtful residential design: spaces that feel calm, precise, and deeply attuned to the people who live in them. I see the home as something responsive—an environment shaped by how we gather, retreat, work, rest, and move through the day. A well-designed house should not feel generic or imposed. It should feel like a natural fit: your own perfect sparring partner.

I am interested in architecture that sharpens everyday life through proportion, light, material, and sequence. My goal is to create homes that are beautiful, durable, and highly personal without becoming overstated. I want the spaces I design to feel clear, livable, and lasting.

My background includes residential design-build as well as experience in larger architectural settings, which has given me a strong foundation in design, detailing, consultant coordination, documentation, and construction administration. I bring that combination of design sensitivity and technical rigor to every project, with the aim of creating homes that are both thoughtfully composed and well resolved.
